A Pet Lovers Free Membership Club

Welcome to Internet Vets. 
This is a membership site that is owned and operated by a licensed and practicing veterinarian, Dr. Billie Boyd.   This site is dedicated to the enjoyment of children and pet lovers everywhere.  Membership for this site is absolutely FREE, however, we do ask that you and your children pledge to never neglect or abuse your pets, and to protect your pets from harm.  This is the ONLY requirement for membership.  We don't ask for credit cards, and we don't share information about our members with others.  Upon taking the pledge, you will be presented with a beautiful membership certificate in your name that is suitable for framing.

Membership Does Have Its Privileges.
We offer many items of interest for our members, and we hope that you will take advantage of our site in learning about how to care for your pets in the best possible way.  This site has many interesting things to offer you including:

• We have some really neat animal games to test your knowledge of various animals.  These are great for the kids.  We have Word Search, Animal Trivia, Sliding Puzzle, Zoo Maze, Jungle Flip, Number Jump, and everyone's timeless favorite, Concentration.
• We have a community chat room on DalNet where you can talk online live with other pet lovers.  In addition, we have a community bulletin board where you can post questions (and see other questions already answered).  We also have email discussion lists set up for those that like to use email.  Currently, we have email discussion lists for dogs, cats, horses, birds, reptiles, and exotics.
• Don't forget to visit the Dear Dr. Billie page where I answer letters that you and others send to me.
• Check out Animal Cards where we have a great place to send your friends email post cards that you create yourself with our neat animal pictures.
• In the Animal Art Gallery, you can order prints of pictures you like and will be supporting our efforts here as you do so (it's neat just to see all the great pictures even if you're just browsing!).
• Dr. Billie is in the process of putting together a book list for our bookstore. Again, your purchases will help to support this site.
• We will soon have information on 18 different categories of products, so that you can make informed decisions on what you are buying for your pet.
• You can get our monthly newsletter that you can receive by email free of charge simply by signing up for it.
• We have a useful directory of veterinarians throughout the US so that you can find a local vet easily when you need one.  We also included animal groomers and animal hospitals in the listings.
• We have search engines that help you find what you're looking for, both for our site as well as for the rest of the web.
• We have  Best of The Web Pet Links where we have scoured the web for the very best pet sites out there.

I want to make your time here as interesting and as pleasurable as possible.  I care what you think, and I care about the health of your pets.  I encourage you to voice your thoughts as to how this site can be made better and more useful to you.  Always remember that this site is here to serve you and your pets.  I want you to feel at home here, in the company of fellow pet lovers.
