Hello From Dr. Boyd

computer.jpg (10834 bytes)Dear Fellow Pet Lovers,

My name is Dr. Billie Boyd (my friends call me "Dr. Billie"), and I am the President of Internet Vets.  I pride myself on being very down to earth, straight forward, and as a practicing veterinarian, I truly love my work.

I was raised in the south, and I did my veterinary training at Auburn University.  And yes!  I even drive a pickup truck -- a red one!   My practice is in the northwest Georgia farming communities, so I see a wide variety of animals and pet challenges in my day to day work.  With a staff of ten, you can probably imagine just howshottime.jpg (10628 bytes) busy it gets around here.  The days are long, but I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Our Goal On The Web
My primary goal here is to provide a quality resource that you and others will want to come back to on a regular basis.   I sincerely
exam.jpg (12146 bytes) want to help you with specific advice and information on how to best care for your pets.  Being a vet is not easy, and doing it over the Internet can definitely be challenging.

In my years of practice I have seen the Internet grow into a truly useful resource.  I have also discovered the lack of personalized veterinary care available on the Internet.  With your suggestions and input, and our mutual love of animals, I feel sure that we can make this site a truly useful and worthwhile addition to the world wide web.

Best regards,
