IRRESISTIBLE HOMEMADE LIVER TREATS

   (Not just for Dogs!!)

     Ingredients

  1. Put liver in food processor and liquefy (To use a blender, cut the liver into cubes and add one-quarter pound at a time.)
  2. Add dry Ingredients and mix well
  3. Spread the batter out in a greased cookie sheet and then score it with a large knife into about 1/4" cubes before baking to make bite sized treats.   To make larger treats, drop 1 tsp. of mixture onto a greased cookie sheet and flatten with bottom of glass dipped in corn meal. 
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Cool completely and break into bite size morsels
  6. Store in freezer until ready to use.

 

Notes:  The 1/4" cubes are a great size for spitting (holding them in your mouth for use in the show ring).
